You said 3 waves of enemies at the archon priest. There are also waves of enemies as you fight the priest. Obviously you didn't explain yourself very good of everyone is assuming something different. You were referring to the 3 waves of Vex in the Winters Run strike. If you want people to know what you're talking about you should learn to explain yourself. Don't act like we're idiots when you're the one who can't articulate what you mean.
