First off this isn’t a rant: Up to now I’ve run Weeklies/Nightfalls/Patrols with 3 friends: 2 from my clan & my Shadow Price – Her name is Bessie Ever since I found her she has been a reliable & integral part of my Fireteam. Her perks are amazing to me, they are not standard, you couldn’t buy her from the Vanguard Quartermaster, she was unique(-ish)...but do I love her because I got her as a reward for a random Tiger Strike? In short, no - I love her because of all of the shit we’ve been through together since I found her. But now that the DLC has dropped she is less effective, not altogether useless, but she is not the solid go to Primary I was used to. If Bungie are serious about us having attachments to our weapons/gear or being able to truly tell fantastic stories about them, then they really ought to look at the possiblility of upgrading not just Exotics but Legendaries too. I’d level her up 5 times over just to get her back to what she once was. Yes I could find another Shadow Price, but it isn’t guaranteed to have the same perks & it won’t replace Bessie. She will always have a place in my vault – regardless of whether that gets expanded or not. Edit #1: For the preservation of the English language Edit #2: My shameless bump worked!
