I'm panning to go to the military instead of college. I feel like the only way I would progress in life is to be military-smart and aware. Besides, my neighbor was drafted to go to Vietnam. Poor guy was a technician fixing wires and radio signals until the facility was bombed.
The thing I can't forget is when he told me that at night each person would switch off as a guard every 3 hours. He said that at night it was most dangerous because even if you lit up a cigar a sniper could see the light and shoot you. He saw his partner die because of that and quickly gained common sense on the battle grounds of Vietnam, and that inspired me to be military-smart and aware.
