Mid November my Xbox 360 that served me well for many many years took it's last spin with Destiny inside.
One morning I went to fire her up and it would not read the disc. This was a problem that had been on going for about 6 months but with patience and a little bit of luck, eventually I would see the glorious words "play Game". Only this time after numerous tries and close to 45 minutes later still nothing. So I press eject but noting happen. I could hear the xbox trying to open the tray with a vibrating hum of the gears grinding.
I went to my kitchen, aka, my tool box and, grabbed a butter knife. I slipped inside to gently pry ope the tray. I opened it about an inch. Wiggling and pulling with a firm grip I inched it closer and closer. All of a sudden my superman powers had over taken my hand and the tray flew open in a flash. Out came my Destiny game disc, along with a tiny little plastic gear. I was heart broken. With no money to get a new 360 or have it repaired my gaming days were out numbered.
I still come to the forums everyday hearing about all the good and bad adventures all you fine Guardians are enduring with your Fire Teams whether you pleasing or cheesing. It makes me feel like I'm still apart with all of yous up in the tower watching over the great city. One day soon I hope to be reunited. One day.
Thanks -Erk
