I attend the University of Akron in Ohio and keep on encountering the Centipede error ever since I've been back from brake.
I contacted IT because from what I read it was some sort of NAT issue or port issue. I sent some info over to IT and this is what I got,
"The residence hall network does not have any of these ports blocked. It is wide open for most outgoing traffic. No changes have been made on the residence hall network and these games were working before. Sorry but there are no additional ports to open."
Is there anything else I can do or is this an issue Bungie is trying to fix?

IT's number is 330-972-6888. We need to convince them to reopen the following ports if we want to play destiny: TCP Inbound: 80, 443, 1935, 3478-3480 and UPD Inbound: 3478, 3479, 3074, 2001 It would also help if you could get other students of the university who are interested in destiny to call as well. The ports were closed to conserve bandwidth, and it will be impossible to play destiny at the university until the ports are open again.

I'm at Akron also, and cannot even start the game. Im getting centipede on ps3. I think it is on Bungie's end.

It's something at bungies end glad to see they've made no progress on this since launch date

I also attend the University of Akron, and have been experiencing the same problem ever since the hotfix the first day of the semester. I played on Sunday fine, but ever since I downloaded the hotfix on monday I keep encountering the cenitpede error.
