I get your point. But that is the way the gaming industry is now. Money over everything.
Look at Skyrim, fallout, or any other large game. They always have content that's "there" and just not accessible. Do I agree with it? No I dont. But it's not just bungie/ activision that are doing it.
When I buy a new game for whatever (usually $60.00) I expect to drop at least another 20-40 on it with expansions ( or in some cases "unlocked" area already there)
At the end of the day I have a job and I'm happy to pay for what entertains me.
