Right I will actually help you out here as opposed to talking shit like 90% of the idiots here do.
Go to settings and turn off any game mode you may have. Turn brightness and contrast to max - it's only a short term thing so would suggest doing it on a different picture mode. If your Plasma has screen brightness or panel brightness (can't remember the exact phrase), set this to max also. Turn off screen pixel movement for this bit only! Make sure to turn it back on after :).
Now run the screen wipe program - 30 minutes first. Turn it off and allow it to cool. An hour second time and again, turn it off to allow it to cool. Finally 4 hours of it and that "should" fix it or reduce it to a low enough visibility. This has a 95% chance of success for people I have done this for (previous Samsung engineer - now work for FPS game manufacturer).
So once this has hopefully worked, turn on game mode immediately for that HDMI channel! Turn on moving pixels / screen burn protection and set to max! Reduce panel brightness to 50% max and then change brightness and contrast to correct levels. Quick hint for a better picture, set "sharpness" to zero. HiDef sources are ruined by sharpness settings lol.
Hope this works. Let me know chap :)
