Talking To A Wall
I feel like most of the valid points brought up here in the Feedback section are being ignored. It feels like the community as a whole is shouting for change yet we are simply talking to a greedy, unresponsive wall.
Am I the only one who feels that way?
I love checking out these forums on a regular basis, seeing what the community thinks needs changing about the game, whether or not their posts are valid.
Yet it seems like even the most wanted changes (extra vault space, raid bug-fixing, raid gear and weaponry upgrades, etc.) are being completely ignored and unawknowledged.
More and more I get the feeling that this game was produced lazily, and is being updated lazily. I can get better game maintenance and updates from a $1.99 application on my phone.
You would think that a company like Bungie would care more about the quality of their game, rather than their sales.
In summary, I think [u]WE[/u] as a [u]COMMUNITY[/u] need more Feedback, rather than us providing ours - we don't seem to be getting anywhere with our suggestions and requests. Maybe I am asking too much, but to me it definitely feels like [i]something[/i] is missing.

4 RepliesDon't know if they have crap developers or its Activision laying down the hammer but WOW. Top priorities for nearly every other game I've played were to fix real bugs and real issues plaguing the game. Forget the things people are calling for that would better the game %100. They have a list, and a pretty decent one at that, of known bugs. I've seen DeeJ acknowledge some of the issues as "known bugs" and these are dating back to October. So my question is, wtf are your 500 developers doing besides taking month vacations and patching cheese?? Its such a joke. I'm patient, listen I get it. Bug fixes take time. But it's been 4 months!!! As you've said, I have seen F2P games release patches quicker than them. At bare minimum keep us updated! Are you working on fixes, will it not be fixed, what's the deal. I and many other gamers seriously do not give a pig flying -blam!- about their "stats" and their interviews. Save that for your board of investors at Activision. And let's not even mention the fact they completely glossed over the abysmal Dark Below release. The Internet was on fire after the release and they didn't acknowledge it aside from, "Things changed, deal with it." Oh, I'll deal with it alright, by never giving them another dime after HoW drops. The problem is I'm old enough to have dealt with companies like this before, and it just disgusts me to sort of see the way this game/company is going. Give your gamers, the real water keeping this ship afloat, what they want! And give us REAL feedback on REAL issues. No more Fluffdates!! I agree with you %100! And as usual POWER to the COMMUNITY!!!

There is way too much negativity on BOTH sides of the fence, whether you love or hate this game. By the way, I do agree with the OP.

Supposedly the community manager or whatever, supposedly supposed to communicate with us and whatnot, but I see like two updates and maybe half a dozen forum posts a week from the guy. I can manage that many posts in my half hour lunch at work.... I don't know if he responds when you send him a message, but I know it's only about .005% probability that he will respond to your forum post, EVEN IF IT'S IN A THREAD HE CREATED. Just saying if I was paid to communicate with the community, I'd do a Hell of a lot more communicating.

Crowd funding anyone. Launch a PR campaign against Bungie until that start to make the game what set out to. Even if they count their money with 1 hand and program with the other it would be better.

AGREED! they really are not giving any thought about our requests.. They bothered to update us with a known bug that they where thinking that's needed to be prioritised first then or requests. Bungie really need to pay more attention to our needs.

6 RepliesImagine you are a team of 500 dedicated game developers tasked with creating destiny. Now compare that to the several million players providing feedback (both in written form and data collection.) Do you think its easy to just read these forums and implement everything thay every quality post suggests? Bungie is tasked with making decisions that will keep Destiny alive. Just because the majority of the posts they read ask for a specific inclusion into the game, doesnt mean it will work. Imagine what would happen if bungie finally caved in and implemented trading. Someone would find a dupe glitch, the glitch would spread all over the net like wild fire, and sooner than later the economy becomes ruined, items lose value, and revenue drops considerably. Stop acting so self entitled. Each of those 500 people working on destiny are humans just like us, and they are doing the best they can.

2 RepliesI don't usually bump threads but this I will. This is a well worded post actually giving "feedback" about the lack of feedback we receive in regards to this game. None of what you're asking for here is unreasonable or ridiculous. Threads like this need to be carefully read by bungie and honestly like someone stated, "a 'read this' or 'seen by by bungie' button" would be huge. Hell, they don't even have to say it's gonna happen, just at least show us that they saw it.

1 ReplyOh, I absolutely agree. Look at the bugs they're fixing though. Fixing things that are working against the player, like Oversoul not appearing, instead of fixing things that need to work for the player, like the Sword disappearing. Using Crota's End as an example. Besides being ignored, they're (apparently, judging from the track record) updating the game against the players as well.

1 ReplyYeah, I only hop back on when there is a huge update, the up to date one, with the new crucible playlest, is something that will make go play. There shouldnt be destiny 2... As leaked on the web... Destiny should be what it stood for, and continue with the updates, and dlc. More playlist like in halo, persuminly like in reach. New races, or the abilty to be a different charater should of been there from the start. Charater aka race. The gravity on some maps adjusted for some worlds. At least a race playlist, or headhunter varation. Buildings and objects should of been damageable. The city being under attack.
