While I can't speak for everyone, my take is that it isn't that the game is not fun to play. For what is there, as is, I have fun playing. That being said, it is fun for limited periods at a time due to lack of content/the way it is presented. I played initial launch for a month or so, then stopped playing until TDB. Played again for a couple of weeks, got a full set of Raid Armor, didn't feel like repeating the Raid a hundred times for the materials to upgrade, so took another break. If my clan is doing crucible, I may jump in for that, but otherwise, I'll see everyone for HOW. (I pre-paid for everything, so I may as well play it.) What I won't do is buy anymore installments until well after reviews are published and I can verify that it is content that I want to spend money on.
