So what you're saying is. That in the first year of a 10 year plan, a game is supposed to not already have content ready to go? That they should release it all at once and develop after release?
Here's an alternate reality.
Some idiot(let's use you as our example) says " wow gg bungie. Way to have a 10 year plan and have us play the same content I beat in the first 3 months without cheese( prolly lying). Blam your blaming blam blam game. I want my money back. Don't want to wait 10 blaming years for blaming dlc. Blam you!"
Lol it's not cut content idiot, it's something they finished with the launch to ensure they keep the majority( you are not the majority) happy with more to do at a pace someone with an education( which you don't have, not to that degree) decided would keep fans downloading.
So please refrain from spamming posts about cut content, as you do nothing but make people grab pitchforks and torches, or lash out at you. This is prolly the most honest, non troll response you'll get. Because at the end of the day, the majority that doesn't include you, is buying more dlc after how.

I would be fine with what they're doing if the base game was what they said it would be. Are you honestly saying that what was released to us took five or nearly five years to develop?
-
New textures, meshes, animations, sounds, music composition, dialog, and even more. Yeah it took five years to make. It always takes the first game longer to make cause they are starting from scratch. Cod can make a playable game in 2 years because almost all of the textures and meshes are from previous games
-
New textures as in what was in Halo 3? If you've played the Halo games you easily have that itch when you run around the world and fighting creatures that tells you this is just another halo in another universe. Pretty landscapes in the far distance just being a picture? I can't say anything I see is revolutionary, but then no other game I've played on ps4 is either.
-
There are tons of new textures and animations but if you think it's all from halo 3 that's fine by me
-
How many millions of lines of code do you think destiny contains?
-
Edited by Holycorrupt: 1/14/2015 4:03:55 AMYou sound like you honestly believe these guys sit at a computer and type code until a game is made. Tell me, how many lines of code are in DA Inquisition? Or how about just for the hell of it, how many are in Minecraft? Or any other game that offers 50 times the amount of content offered in destiny and didnt take 5 years to develop.
-
All of those games you mention are trash anyway
-
Subjective, but I respect your opinion. I think they're pretty great.
-
I'm just shocked that this didn't devolve into name calling. Good debate sir
-
Don't know what platform you're on. But if PS4/PS3 or 360 hit me up. PS: Dark_Lion- 360: Holycorruption

There's never a reason to attack someone personally over an opinion they have. Good debate to you as well.
-
Minecraft when it first came out was breaking blocks and placing blocks nothing more. And Dragon Age had a previous game to base the design from they really only enhanced most things made a few new things and the story. A first installment takes a long time to make

I never said typed. That is what libararies and macros are for
-
about 2. how long does it take to recode the same horde survival at the end of every mission. or the fact the final boss is 3 of the same boss you fought earlier?

Thankyou, finally someone understands!!!

He doesn't have to refrain from anything. It's people like you that allow this shit to happen.
-
Allow this shit to happen? Seriously, you need to take all your idiots that think like you and find a different game to play...I suggest Russian roulette.
-
You have no clue dude
-
Nice argument.

What this wise one said.
