Yes, the marketing did fool some people into buying the game but MOST people jumped on the bandwagon too. I played the beta and did the research about the game BEFORE it came out, I do that with all games. I know about the DLCs and the problems with writers/Activision. Odds where they where going to "cut content" anyway, because they needed a base platform to work out bugs and problems before putting in more complex things. Yes, it would be nice to have more.content but I'm not going to bitch about it 24/7 for something that has been happening for the past couple of years.....if you don't like it, then STOP Playing and whining about that same god-damn thing.

Honestly it makes no difference if it was there or not even if it were dlc not on the disk you'd still have to pay, people gaming is an industry and money is what makes it go round i can assure you there not the only game producers that have pre-made content and just locked it till they were ready to release it, hell for all we know the maps are done but they can switch up so many thing with the rest of the content the enemies, weapons, and the whole balance of the game.

The only thing that worries me is the standard of players this guy gets matched up with in PvP . It's like he's invisible ! He literally just runs head on into ppl with a shotgun and they don't even fire :)

4 RepliesIt's true. Here's what happened. This was info released by that lawsuit in LA and a couple other articles online. Bungie partnered with activision. Part of the contract was 4 discs & minimum 4 dlcs over the next several years. Bungie decided to take the darkness & house storyline campaigns that were originally part of the first disk to fulfill 2 of the required dlcs.

7 RepliesIt doesn't really matter whether this content was cut or pre planned. What they have released so far has been pretty dismal. It's really easy to run out of stuff to do after the weekly reset. Everything is starting to get extremely repetitive.

To make game companies really scared people shouldn't preorder games! A dollar today is better than a dollar tommorow. Placing that dollar in a bank will make it cost more. Therefore, preordering games should stop. There is really no advantage in preordering any game. Ohh a pathetic shader or a "cool" emblem won't really change your gameplay experience. Please stop preordering games.

I hate tin foil hat stuff like this. Maybe they did "cut" this stuff from the main game, we will never know because we wasn't there for the development of the game. But even if they did the base game is worth $60. If they had included everything from the dlc in the main game it would be worth way more than $60,it's at least worth $80 to $90. But no one would be willing to pay up front for a base game that cost above $60,except the people that got the bundle.
