So, if you´ve read the Grimoire, (the PvP arenas section, to be exact) you have probably noticed that it oftenly says something like: "In case the (insert enemy race here) decides to make a move, the guardians in the location will act"
My point is, why not implement this? Make it happen rarely and once per game
It could be something minimal like a group of 5 or 10 enemies attacking guardians of all teams, and each team gets 10-25 points per mob kill, with the chance to drop engrams and such.
Or, go a hole step further and actually throw a mini boss at us, it being so hard to kill that everyone HAS to teamwork to kill it,with the posible rewards being motes of light, engrams and maybe strange coins. The team that did the most damage could get 300 bonus points
Examples:
-For earth, make some dregs, a couple of vandals and a captain spawn.. If it was a mini boss, just make a drop ship bring us a Fallen Walker.
-For the moon, make a lot of thralls spawn. For the mini-boss, just let a big badass ogre out.
-For venus, spawn a few minatours and some goblins. Let the mini-boss be another Hydra or something (i dunno lol)
-For mars, spawn a legionarie, a phalanx, a psion, a colosus and the other guy that i forgot his name lol, so it gets a Little interesting. For the BIG open maps, spawn a god damn Goliath tank
-For Mercury (yes, there is a pvp map in mercury) Some hobgoblins in hard-to-reach spots and some Arpies. I don´t know about the miniboss though.
What do you think, is this a good or bad idea? Leave suggestions and bump this if you agree. Thanks for Reading.
