Am I the only person in the world who is still hoping this will happen?
And if not does anyone have some more news on this subject?

Why not buy the trilogy pack for 30 bucks on PC.......1440p 60fps

Apparently BioWare are looking into it. One of the main things they're hoping to achieve is that players can play all 3 games in one play through with additional cut-scenes linking the 3 games.

I keep hearing that it's being considered, I really really really hope they do a remake of the trilogy. I would be extremely happy and would gladly give them my money and preorder like 5 of them haha, cause that's how much I love these games.

I think it will happen. I remember reading early last summer that ME4 was still "years" away. That makes me think it could be end of the year 2016 or early 2017 (god I hope I don't have to wait that long). Let's say for a minute that we do have to wait until 2016/17 for ME4; I think it's completely reasonable for Bioware to remaster the series for next gen. It keeps up interest in the series and brings in new fans, AND they'll make a bunch of money. I'd pay $100 for the trilogy with the dlc, maybe even more if I had the money.

It hasn't been confirmed, but there have been many rumors alluding to a trilogy port, and there was even a listing for it on a site for a short time (it was pulled down very fast of course, but it was interesting to note).

I read an article about how bioware had been reading a next gen remake, I'll try and find it.

I hope they do make one. I've been itching to run through all 3 games, but I'm holding off in case there is a remake trilogy.
