So, after many failed attempts to obtain the flawless raider trophy, last night i finally succeeded in doing so (no cheddar), thus getting the platinum trophy with it! It took many tries to even find the right group who were willing to put the time in to achieve this feat. I was using destinylfg to find people, i would say it was probably my 20th+ group that i had tried with. So i thank you Sewie-7, RexHound, CallMeBandaid, xXDeagXx and Matja90 for sticking around and having the patience to complete this with me! To anyone looking to attempt it, i would say: Be patient - you will find the right team eventually. Stick at it - Persevere, there are many hiccups along the way, the raid is difficult enough without having all the glitches introduced...no thanks to Bungie. Fight as a coordinated group - Especially during the templar/gatekeeper and Atheon section...Having a microphone is key (Duh) Keep together - The gorgons can be a pain! Jumping puzzle - Probably the moment everyone in our fireteam dreaded most - sweaty palms. Go one at a time, using the route you know best! Don't let anyone tell you to do it their way. There are other things which can make things go smoother, everyone know's them. Use your most preferred character with the most light (defence). Use maxed weapons, utilize peoples supers, i.e titan bubble can really help the decrease the amount of time fighting a boss (helm of saint 14 can help fighting huge numbers of adds too). Titan suppressor grenades can be useful too! We completed it without using rocket launchers, only machine guns, it was just a rule we set so nobody would blow themselves up in a detainment bubble. Once you finally beat Atheon without dying, be sure to dance all over his charred, rotten corpse, shooting, supering, selfy-ing and sharing the evidence of this achievement! Anyone looking to do this trophy - stick at it guardians, and to everyone who has already obtained this trophy, i salute you!
