In mass effect (before 3), you save the galaxy twice, tell people be peaceful and come together to fight an extremely powerful army, have a crew made up of all major races, even have a geth and quarian working together. Even show the quarian leaders that geth can be good. No one listens, quarians go to war with geth and no one believes you about the reapers until they can hear the fog horns. You couldnt even get the benefit of the doubt even once. You go fix everything have fun.
