Adjusting the SGA as an exotic.

Currently SGA is underperforming in every aspect under the Thunderlord and most other exotics. This could be fixed in 2 ways: This gun has 3 barrels, so why not make it a hipfire gun. This would synergy well with its exotic perk. Make the first upgrade better hipfire, and give it an enormous impact and extreme recoil. Additionally, give it either Field scout, quicker reload or snapshot. This would help choosing it over thunderlord for certain moments. Number 2: Return hit shots to magazine, but with half the chance. So you would still have the Exotic perk for being accurate. This would also synergise well with perfect balance or Balance adjustment. Just a quick idea, because crowd control is lame... Kinda. Thank you for the read ( note, this has also been posted in feedback, so give your concerns there too) Edit: what if the 3 barrels use each element ? Like at once, Solar, Arcus and void. A shield breaker

    I think the perk is counter productive to the idea of Exotic weaponry. It would be rewarding you for missing? How does that make sense? So you can fire nearly twice as long, so long as you don't hit a damn thing... great, that would be very useful in a firefight, if I were invincible. How about changing the perk to: Non-precision hits have a chance to return rounds to the magazine. This would reward you for hitting your target, while limiting it to non-bonus damage shots and having just a chance (make it like 40% chance). Otherwise this weapon will only be used to break down for a shard.
