I am currently looking at the SUNBREAKERS and STARFIRE PROTOCOL for the warlock and I have an idea on how to improve them so that they may get more play. For starters they're both to specific in regards to what they do, now STARFIRE PROTOCOL'S namesake perk lets you get an additional FUSION GRENADE that's it one extra grenade for one specific grenade type for the SUNSINGER subclass, and you cant stack it with GIFT OF THE SUN, which makes it a collectable gathering dust in the closet. The same is true with SUNBREAKERS as well, it's exotic perk HELIUM CYCLE gives you an increase in duration for the SOLAR GRENADE, one grenade type+ one subclass+ one situation= TWO DUSTY GAUNTLETS. How do we make them better? How do we make them... EXOTIC? Well I sagest we take STARFIRE PROTOCOL'S perk and change it to where it gives you GIFT OF THE SUN, if another exotic doesn't do that already, this would make it more like the ARMAMENTARIUM for the titan, this change makes it more flexible than it was, and it still keeps its p.v.p. balance. And finally the change I would make for SUNBREAKERS, would be to take away its grenade focus and instead have HELIUM CYCLE increase the duration of IGNITE affects. I have been throwing around 25, or 50, for the increase percentage, but really it all depends on what number is more balanced. This, again would make the SUNBREAKERS more flexible in p.v.e., while at the same time keeping it's balance in p.v.p.. If anyone at Bungie reads this, I thank you for your time and eyes in the hopes that you may throw the idea up the ladder.
P.S. A fire rate increase, slight buff to impact, and lower zoom would do wonders for NO LAND BEYOND.
