I largely agree with this timeline. You are missing an important anecdote about timeless creatures in primordial space, however. I don't agree that the Darkness corrupted the Vex in the past, I think balance, uh, Rasputin will gain control of the decommissioned Vex in the garden, in the future, the corruption of the Vex by the Darkness was probably limited to the present. Balance, uh, the Vex, appear to be attempting to imbede themselves into the fabric of spacetime, making himself as powerful as Light, Darkness, and Fate. I'm afraid that he is "treading their path", and "fitting into their pattern", preserving their effect as to allow him to replace them as the cause. I think he is unraveling the fabric of the gods as we speak. When the Cabal attacked Rasputin on Mars, notice that the Vex arrived to defend him. If I am right, Rasputin was attacking the Traveller from the future even as he fought the Darkness in the past. This is coherent with three of balances patterns: created by the Light to defeat the Dark, Treachery, and pursuit of balance between light and Dark. This is a hint but not the only one. Another is incarnations of Light, Dark, and even Fate are relatively transparent, but balance is obscured, my hypothesis is the most parsimonious way I can think of to reconcile Destiny with the infinite pattern with available informaton. Other anomalies exist. Ancient Vex infrastructure is everywhere, but there is zero evidence of a true Vanguard civilization, other than the mysteries grimoire card about Fates first encounter with Darkess in this cycle, in the garden at the beginning of the world ofcourse. Even then the Vanguard pattern seems to have been absorbed by those that came before, this makes sense as far as continuity is concerned, but the proliferation of Vex infrastructure in the present past is concerning in light of a lack of evidence of a Vanguard civilization. The Traveler follows the pattern of light, leap frogging Humanity technologically, assisting them in spreading through space, supplying them with the means to wage war against IT, yet where as before this occurred over thousands of years covertly, maybe even millions, our rise and our fall occured in a fraction of the time. The Traveller was rushing from the beginning, it seems to have known its time was short. The Darkness is in a sense significantly better off than I would expect, and yet not as much considering the state of the Traveler. The lineage and royal line of those that came before is clearly intact, and infact seems to have progressed significantly. Fate is clearly present and seemingly aware of her nature, although perhaps she merely sees her role in the current immediate past and future. Then again future War Cult seems to understand the nature of the universe quiet well, including her part, how could she not. Nonetheless the state of the lineage of the hero is relatively strong evidence from which to determine the chronology of possible universes. Light and Fate had the upper hand during the life of the universe, even if the chaos always won at the end, how did we get here? Balances rise can partially explain the anomalies, but not everything. Is Gherrit White even behind bars? What of Light? If Toland is right about the third queen what could Light do to..........oh god, run Rat, run and eat the path through the maze, you and your lineage might be our only chance. Now I understand Tolands obession with the Hive, it wasn't admiration but sympathy. IT was spreading everywhere, conquering everything. I don't know whether to condemn its hypocrisy or applaud its devotion to ITs destruction..Two opposite forces of creation and destruction, an endless cycle, a timeless war, all to define what is, what isn't, what will and what can't.
