They said "don't do it" but now look at me, falling down an endless void all because I can't take advice. This could have been avoided so easily. "Chill out," I said. "It's not like it's an all-consuming darkness that tears away at the very fabric of your mind and soul, right?" Hah! Wrong. Well, on the bright side...oh wait, there is no bright side to plummeting down through some self-inflicted aberration of reality.
