The Starfire Protocol is rendered useless after finding out, it won't actually grant additional grenades if perk us already active in your skill tree. This is an ungodly nuisance to most who envisioned themselves chucking mad loads of grenades during radiance. All I'm saying is give us what armour perks actually say, and make perks stackable. This is a game changer and would vastly broaden the characters playing style and perk combos.
You want 3 grenades instead of 2with dps burn damage, YOU GOT IT. You want more chains of woe over 2 throwing knives, DONE! How bout an extra shied for you titans out there, It's yours! Enable stackable perks from armour...just sayin.
Happy hunting out there you guys XD

totally agree with this, the Starfire protocol says 'gain an additional fusion grenade' and the skill tree says "gain an additional grenade", nowhere does it say gain a second grenade or max 2 grenades. frankly it was the reason i bought it from xur. I get the usefulness of the perk but it should say 'gain a second fusion grenade' and the skill tree should say 'gain a second grenade'.

Edited by Soul_Eater_42: 1/23/2015 6:51:04 AMOK gonna explain this one. Like the ammo perks on armor, they are not meant to stack. The perk for Starfire Protocal is suppose to give you an additional grenade so that you can swap Gift of the Sun for Angel of Light or Touch of Flame. Basically a 2-in-1 deal. It's similar to the Titan's Helm of Inmost Light which has a perk that provides them with Death from Above and Headstrong for their Fist of Havok, allowing them to use other perks in their Striker skill tree in combination with it.
