Any other Warlocks out there who actually like the Apotheosis Veil?
I find that it goes mostly unappreciated. It's got a pure DIS roll which is excellent for 'locks, it's got Serpents Tail (my favorite non-exotic armor perk) which gives you more grenade charge everytime you punch something (combine with energy drain for best results), and it's unique upgrade automatically activates health regen when you use your super, which has saved my ass countless times. It's also completely subclass-neutral. It also looks pretty damn cool in my opinion. Aside from the Obsidian Mind, it's probably my favorite Warlock exotic.
So, I ask of you, are there any other Warlocks who actually [i]like[/i] the Apotheosis Veil, or am I alone here? If not, what is your favorite subclass-neutral warlock exotic and why?

I won't lie,I just bought it this morning so I haven't tried it yet, but I love the idea of it for the raid, but also in general. Gaining health when you use your super in addition to picking up orbs is great. I frequently have to activate my super as a hunter just to run it down so I can get orbs to heal. And like you mentioned,I like that it is sub class neutral, obsidian mind is great but I don't have void walker leveled so kind of useless, or at least limited right now.

Very under appreciated Considering you can regenerate health with a super it's pretty bad ass I will say that it took me a long time to start using it though!

I don't remember how I got it, but I know I had it on my hunter, main character, and was not even lvl 30 on him yet, this was in September or October, saved it till I made my 2nd character, a warlock obviously. I LOVE this helmet, subclass neutral and I've used my super just to get health back instead of dying and having to revive, very helpful if you get in a pinch on 9000 xp w/out dying, or strike w/out dying bounty

i think it looks hideous, but i still use it for hard mode crota. so i like it for that, and that's about it.

Its my favourite to use in Crota's End. Not only do you replenish health with Orbs but also when using your Super. Outside the Raid I generally prefer Obsidian Mind when Voidwalking or HotPF when Sunsinging, but its a literal life-saver in the Raid.

I got it on a drop and dismantled it so I can max my gjallahorn. But people seem to say it's best for crota hm. But I've been fine without it. So I may just pass.

I genuinely hate the look of the helmet so I don't bother with it. I bought it this week just so I could own it. But I don't plan on using it.

I have had this helmet for awhile. It is great, but situational. When Crota raid come out I was glad I had this in my inventory. I switch my gear and subclass around constantly during raids.

1 ReplyDont know...I think Obsidian Mind and Praxic Fire are superior.Im a Sunsinger myself but I wont spend the coins on it.If it's a drop ok, otherwise it doesnt seduce me...but hey, we are all different so.

It was my first exotic anything and I still hold it dear to my heart. Severely underated.

It's ugly as -blam!- that's why looks like a damn fish bowl lol. I hate the light beyond nemisis as well it just looks stupid to me. Skull helm and obsidian mind are the best looking helms imo

I use it all the time, with 100% Discipline the warlock becomes an artillery unit

I have it and have used it for quite some time. The health regen on super is pretty good for those reckless suicide nova bombs to create millions of orbs. Other than that it's not that exciting. Gets the job done.
