Me and my friends started two days after release never took destiny very seriously till after the expansion. That being said I'm no super Guardian by any means, and currently jus started doing raids and look forward to learning them (rather than cheese it up). I also understand that there is a large % of players who earned and also cheesed their VoG gear. All I'd like to say is that people who took the time to get vault gear (those hated by RNGesus), are now left knowing in short time their fatebringer could turn into a paperweight or worse scrapped for bank space. As someone who didn't take the time to run VoG I know I wouldn't hold it against the players or bungie if upgrades were introduced (either at gunsmith, very cool suggestion or from a newer difficulty VoG). I might be a casual or jus not as talented as some of you at fps, but I know I'd be pretty irked if my favorite primary had an expiration date (guns don't make the Guardian but everyone has preferences).
I feel that comparing expansions in WoW to Destiny is a bit of a stretch and silly in terms of both lvls and loot, the game at this stage wouldn't be broken by a single raids weapons and armor getting upgraded. Really hope they add a 33 VoG (obviously with 33 appropriate drops) at some point as well. Rahool is a -blam!-er, crota's cheese stinks so bad I'm getting -blam!-ing sick, good luck all with your VoG gear.
