Lets do some critical thinking: VoG weapons (maxed) were the best ones you could get pre-DLC. They were ment to be found/used (maxed) in a level 30 raid, but at least in a 26 raid (unmaxed being just as useful here. So how many activities are currently in game that are higher then level 30? I count 1 that's not even in the game yet (though I guess it will be soon) In fact even the new ROC strikes are leveled at the lowest level you can run VoG on. So it seems to me that the old legendary weapons are just as useful now as they were before.
