I'm somewhat disappointed at the hunter's double jump ability. I've noticed that titans and warlocks are able to reach a higher point than hunters, even if the hunter has higher jump enabled in combination with max agility. The hunter is supposed to be the most mobile class but the warlock and the titan are keeping up with hunters even though their agility stat is generally much lower than the hunter. I'm not saying make the hunter ridiculously mobile, I just would like to feel a difference when I maxed out my agility stat.

There's exotic boots for the hunter in the next dlc that grants triple jump, allowing you to use another perk to gain better hight.
-
Was this request triggered by the inability to hang with the cool kids on top of the lamp in the nightfall? If so, I feel you mate.
-
It already exists, its called Triple Jump
-
Jump buff will make Hunter jump on par with Titan and Warlock.
-
If you don't like the tinkerbell jumping hunter, create a warlock or titan. buff my azz! :p

Edited by Sasuke_Marshall: 1/10/2015 8:05:24 AMIt is lower than the other classes, even if you hold the jump button for extended reach. However, I feel it gives the hunters a challenge to find new ways to parkour, I always enjoy seeing things in the hunter way instead of the easy way. Besides, the hunters have the best control and mobility in their jump, so it balances out.

The Hunters jump kit is based around getting from point A to point B faster, not to increase the distance covered from point A to point B. The House of Wolves DLC will release the Unremarkable Bones for the Hunter. Exotic Boots. Their special perk permits Hunters to have Triple Jump enabled with an additional selection of any other jump. This means: Double Jump with Triple Jump + Better Control Triple Jump + Higher Jump Or Triple Jump + Blink How's that for a scheduled buff in March?
-
A lot of people don't know this, but with the hunter, HOLD the jump button for each jump in the double jump. You will jump MUCH higher. If you want to be able to get to some of those hard to reach places, use the increased double jump perk instead of better directional control.
-
I would like a little more height for triple jump
-
Try blink https://account.xbox.com/en-us/gameclip/6bf85e1f-a640-4a08-bf50-fbe9cf28d3be?gamerTag=Buanno&scid=37770100-f9ae-4b80-9dad-7c1d0ec14469

I notice a huge difference when I run my bladedancer with max agility. One thing I had to learn was to wait until just after the hunter reached the apex of their jump before jumping again (my main is a warlock). I don't really stuggle to reach most things... I kinda want to try reaching the lights above Valus Ta'aurc though. The warlock made it pretty easily.

Warlocks jump needs a speed buff Hunters are fine Titans are fine
-
Triple jump is much more useful Also try using Titan lift through a blob of enemies and you get shot down Hunter jump you don't get shot down
-
It doesn't need to change because you can get triple jump AND there's an exotic armor piece which makes it so you can jump FOUR times.
-
The DestinyDB indicates that there are some exotic boots that are supposed to give another jump to double jump. That would be pretty cool to have control or height have another jump or even have triple jump have a 4th jump.
-
Triple jump is available on the gunslinger spec if you're having trouble. But no, the hunter doesn't hover like the other two classes. I personally like it that way.
-
House of Wolves DLC is gonna bring new exotic boots for Hunter giving them an extra Jump :)
-
Use the triple jump for better height
-
I tend to keep my agility maxed and I'm usually always running faster than the rest of my team. But I do agree the hunter needs a LITTLE more height to their jumps...
-
I think its enough for now, we have the most vertical movement control out of the 3 classes because of it, the 2nd or 3rd jumps have saved my life sooooo many times I can't count
-
Well I love triple gunslinger jump so, buff.
-
Ha you can't reach the lights while fighting McDickface
-
The titan has the highest jump.
-
There will be exotic leg armor for the hunter in HOW that will upgrade the hunters double jump
-
Use the triple jump, it's amazing.

When you jump around as a hunter it's much harder for hobgoblins and vandal snipers to hit you, same with big crowds than it is if you're a titan or warlock, as these two classes you just get sniped to death if you dare glide or jetpack away. What I think you need OP is this. (I think they will come in HoW) http://db.destinytracker.com/inventory/item/1865771870 They give you the 3rd jump ability so I presume you can use it on your bladedancer as well but, you can also choose the perk for higher jump height and you would get a combo of higher jump+triple jump. I really think this is how they will work because it's pretty much the same thing as starfire protocol but with a different utility.
