Earn guaranteed legendary gear in strikes lol, never going to happen. Selling sub level 30 gear is ridiculous. So hit 29 run VoG a million times and get shards...... Right. Your system doesn't improve anything. It's actually going backwards.

Getting Ascend materials is actually very easy in the game now. Getting Radiant materials isn't so much. Not unless you have multiple characters and rank 4 reputation with Eris. I think they will do something similar for upgrades with the House of Wolves DLC.
