I got 4 VEX and like 5 FB until now .. I don't think it's that hard when you do the raid 3 time a week ..
That's just my opinion
Also there is a glitch for vex droop if you want to try it out it's working for my frnds
One of my friends just got the vex for the first time last night using this glitch
You have to be sure that atheon transfer you to Venus or Mars at the beginning and all you need to do is to stay there and kill yourself
And let your friends complete the fight and kill atheon
It doesn't work if you went to venos or Mars yourself we tried that

strangely enough, I would have to agree with you... I remember going on destinylfg finding a group that had atheon save, i got killed in the first round trying to grab the relic and kill that damn preatorean, and like you said, once they finished it, I got a vex, confluence, timebreaker, and some shards... Maybe it is a glitch... or some wierd "troll like algorithm".

It's not a troll we tried that this week as well for someone who still don't have the VEX .. Anyway I'm 100% sure now that it will drop for you if you die on VENOS...!! Cuz my friend tried to die in Mars with 2 characters and it didn't drop for him But with his 3rd character he went to VENOS and after we killed atheon he got the vex and the red death for his first time.. Try that m8 you have nothing to loss

That's how I got my first vex, I ended up dying i mars (not on purpose) and my team finished while I got the vex
