NEWS JUST IN:
Cayde-6 was recently found sneaking into the Vault of Glass after hiding in the storage compartment of a passing Guardian ship headed to Venus. It turns out Cayde had shirked his duties as a Vanguard mentor by replacing himself with an automated replica at the "Table of Three". The replica, made from spare Exo parts and components, seemed to be fooling everyone until suspicions were raised when it wouldn't stop repeating the phrases; "I'd love to", "That is so true." and "Mr. Pool can be so annoying."
Traveller Today caught up with Cayde-6 shortly after the debacle and he had this to say, "I don't even know what this Glass of Vault thing is or that Atheon is coated in Chatterwhite which drops off of him... Or so I've heard."
Cayde-6 was wearing all white as he spoke. When questioned why he wasn't wearing his customary brown garments he replied, "These are my 'brown' garments. I just finally had them cleansed, I-I mean cleaned. Cleaned! Okay, this interview's over." At this point Cayde was summoned back to the Vanguard's table where Ikora Rey was the first to speak to him. One of our miked Ghosts, Larry Five Oh, was within earshot at the time and managed to pick up Cayde's response to Ikora; Cayde-6:"...I got stabbed, you know, right here..."
Sources have since confirmed Cayde-6 has indeed visited the Vault of Glass and investigations are on-going as to how long his automated 'clone' has been at the table instead of the real Cayde-6. TowerPol is leading the investigation but it seems to have offended the Exo community after a spokes being made the comment that, "Exo's all kind of look alike, which makes this investigation much harder to decipher." Subsequently a freelance Titan detective punched a clue out of a decoherent engram, which may blow the whole case wide open. Traveller Today will keep you informed of further developments.
IN OTHER NEWS:
The Titan who originally attempted to unleash Fist of Havoc atop Phogoth the Untamed-but-Still-House-Broken's bulbous dome (and was subsequently batted away like a mosquito by Phogoth) has finally landed on solid ground. He doesn't quite know where he is yet but he seems to have company in the forms of a Warlock who attempted to Nova Bomb Sekrion Prime's selfie and a Hunter who was swallowed whole by Sepiks Prime after she attempted to Bladedance while using Sepiks as the disco ball. Efforts to bring these brave Guardians back to the Tower have already commenced.
