Pretty easy fight. Takes about three minutes to do legit, kill two witches, kill two shriekers, kill a witch, done. Fight a hundred knights and off to kill crota. Are the people going around this fight, who aren't willing to invest three minutes, worthy of raid rewards?
EDIT: know what the worst part is? People won't even tell new raiders what's going on. They aren't explaining they are cheesing they aren't explaining how to do the fight legit. Then PPL get mad that no one knows how to do it. If we aren't teaching the new guys what to do how can we be mad at them for not knowing?
Edit: If you guys put as much effort into actually raiding as you do defending your shady actions this would be a non-issue
Hey guys check out this guide written by NEWNS for doing the crota raid legit https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/90285570/0/0 If you have trouble just try this! No need to cheese

Edited by TommyTwoStoned: 1/7/2015 11:51:40 PMI've done the raid legit pretty much every time. I've cheesed the bridge a few times, buy never Crota. He's easy to beat if everyone does their job and listens. Recently though, I've begun skipping through Deathsinger, not because I can't do it, but because having to convince my team to do it for No rewards is a pain in the ass. Just give a loot drop off it and people would gladly deal with it. For those saying the Deathsinger is just like through Gorgons Maze and they didn't give rewards either, you are wrong. The spire formation Gives the first chest, the confluxes and oracles are pretty much the same part and you get rewards there. Then a boss fight with the Templar, again for rewards. Finally you get down to the maze, where three of the chests for the raid are contained. Thus rewarding you for not getting caught by Gorgons. Then of course Gatekeeper and Aetheon rewards. The Deathsinger is the Gatekeeper for Crota, So rewards there would make sense.
