Medium/Slow firing scouts are much better. MIDA shoots melted butter
it's MIDA multi shit. I have been corrected
Feel free to use a gawdawful gun it's no skin off my teeth... Unless you raid with me.
It seems RNGesus wants to punish me for talking shit on MIDA so it gave me my third one in last nights nightfall
Most overused comment: "you obviously don't know how to use the gun"
Let me just save you idiots the time and inform you that I do in fact know how to use the multi shit
-blam!- it, hopping on the bandwagon, gonna level the one RNGesus is forcing upon me
Movement speed and ads radar makes this guardian happy... Op just doesn't have brain capacity to utilize the perks of different guns se he must stick with his thorn all the time
-
Wait serious? The Mida is great for pvp
-
High fire rate scout rifles are really good
-
what are you talking about ... MIDA is amazing ... in crucible
-
Slow firing scout rifles suck imo
-
I reckon this guy reckons its shit is cos he constantly body shots like he's using and spray and pray auto rifle. Mida is literally a headshot only wep
-
It's deadly in the right hands, you gotta get all your shots.
-
Been my go to since week 1. I disagree heavily.

Edited by Grace-N-Vader: 1/7/2015 9:46:57 PMI better dismantle mine right away, it is apparently loaded with something other then butter. During nightfall was popping cabal legionnaire heads off in two shots, only 10 shots to take down the colossus once shield was dropped. Where can I get the one that shoots melted butter, I have a lot of toast to prepare. On a serious note: your opinion is just that, IMHO it is great in 99% of the missions, strikes, and Raids.
-
You're just bad with it.
-
Its just u, I've seen many great players using it. It allows for a speedy playstyle which also allows u to avoid tons of damage through strafing or evading. If you're not even using mobility then how is it midas fault?
-
I liked it, but my finger was kinda -blam!-ed up after using it for extended periods of time.
-
This gun splits opinions more than most. Somebody grade it out of 10 for me in PvE out of all the primary weapons. I keep meaning to give it a chance but can't see how it can be better than thorn

Edited by sergeantawesome: 1/7/2015 10:00:39 PMWhen I first got mine, I thought the same way, minus the melted butter. Now though, while the slow firing ones do pack more of a punch, I like the fast pace movement, low recoil and the higher ROF. The impact is lower, but it doesn't feel low enough to consider the MIDA anything less than great. It is not too often that I really notice a large difference on the amount of rounds it takes to bring down enemies. However, though, if I need something with more of a punch for when I am around a ton of majors, I usually just go to a hand cannon.

2 weeks ago I would agree with you, now having played a bit more with it couldn't disagree more. Always used scout rifles, love em, but only just started levelling my mida, and it is brutal, for 3 reasons. 1, high rate of fire coupled with great stability = rapid crit shots 2, massive mag for a scout rifle 27 rounds, means it goes on forever just keeps pumping rounds into stuff. 3, super fast reload, means while other are not only having to reload twice as often they are taking twice as long to reload as well All that means is the overall dps that mida puts out is more than fine and I still need to upgrade its last 3 damage boosts as well, which I will be doing tomorrow

The only better PvE primary for someone that can aim is Hawkmoon. The mobility is infinitely useful and you can pop heads no problem if you know how to use your thumbs. If you don't see why this gun is good go back to your SUROS and enjoy being a free kill.
-
The MIDA is my go-to for PvP and PvE . It wrecks once you know how to use it. +2 agility makes strafing side to side with its great stability a deadly combo. Only thing that can beat me is the SUROS and that's IF they see me first
-
OP confirmed for moron
-
Maybe you're not good with it? I think its fine.
-
It's the singer, not the song. There's a gal in my clan that runs a Mida as her primary and only switches to an IB for Boomer duty on the raid. She's consistently at the top of the leaderboard in a group of similarly talented people. There's nothing wrong with the Mida.
-
You must not be very good then. All of these exotic weapons are great in their own way. Just because you don't have he skill set to use it doesn't mean it's trash. Hair trigger fire turns the Mida into a machine gun
-
It's my go-to weapon. And I kill everything in sight with it. You must not know how to use it properly... The thing pops heads off shoulders all day...
-
Any gun is good in the right hands

I love Marksman (Gheleon's/A.1)/Balanced (Dragon) archetype Scouts same as you, however you should not dismiss the Lightweight archetype much less one that negates a weakness of said parameters, they're far more suited to improving your QoL. (MIDA is a Lightweight base, it should be noted these give a boon to Reloads and have a high Handling stat which provide boons to ADS, ready, and away times. This with the MIDA's perks add to one weapon that should come with a sign simply stating that if you die wielding it it's all your fault.)
-
You know that you can pull the trigger as fast or as slow as you want, right?
-
I shoot enemies with it and they die. Oh my god, you're right... it's just awful.
