Did you even read the article you posted as a link? Players were using an exploit to reset an in game challenge so they could complete it 20+ times rather than I am assuming the allowed 1 time. This doesn't seem comparable to me. Also it reset credits toward the challenge whatever it might be, only a 1 day ban was applied in the worst cases. Also I can assure you the number of ppl cheesing crota has exceeded 15,000. Also I can assure you there are players that have cheesed it that would wipe the floor with you, has nothing to do with skill.
