Bungie. We need a vanity slot. As a person who, and I hate myself for doing this, sometimes chooses armor that looks cooler over the armor with better perks, I think this is in dire need. Which is why I enjoy games like Terraria. For those of you who don't know, a vanity slot is an alternate armor slot. Any armo put into this slot will show over your equipped armor, but will give no additional defense, light, perks, etc. It will pretty much allow you to reach lvl 32, without looking like every other hunter, warlock or titan. The only real diversity we have at the max lvl is our class items and 1 piece of exotic armor. Bungie has always said that Destiny is a game that you can play the way you want. Why couldnt we look the way we want too? For example. On my lvl 30 titan(had to reset for another nightfall) I really like Ruin Wings, exotic gauntlets. Not only do they look badass, but I also frequently use heavy ammo. But, in order to get to lvl 32, I would have to use the atrocity that is the Crotas End titan helmet. And im not alone saying that I will not disgrace my titan by using it. So unless we can get an Iron Banner helmet, im stuck at lvl 31. At least until the next dlc. So Bungie, I really hope you smarten up and listen to your fans. Some ideas, like player houses, will most likely not make it into the game. But something as simple as a vanity slot should.
