Imo they have already lost the Cheaters and Cheesers.
This will be the same people that cry Nightfall (when upped to 32) is unplayable, Crota Hard is undoable. These Loosers will quit anyway if the game gets hard again (before the first VoG Glitch was discovered) because they are accustomed to easy Loot, letting others do their work for them.
If these people can`t accept a temp-ban (no one is talking about permaban) or a gear wipe or character reset as a "reasonable" punishment then they are unteachable and Bungie would do better to loose them while the game has still the reputation of being not a complete joke.

The game isn't hard and no matter how hard they make it, whether people cheese or not, they will beat whatever mode if they want to. The game is a joke in many areas and they need to focus on fixing those areas and not just trying to keep people from cheesing. And you think wiping someones character or taking gear that they may have earned 99% legit for the 1% they earned from cheesing is ok, then you are crazy. No one in their right mind would keep playing if after all the hours they put in, lost their gear or characters and had to start over. That might as well be a permanent ban then bc only a severely unstable person would start over if their account was reset over some lame cheese.
