REPLACE DANCING WITH HOT KEYS
I think bungie should do away with the dancing and pointing and make the D-Pad useful by allowing us to equip weapons to each direction for example Pressing UP on the D-Pad would swap to another selected primary
UP= Primary weapon
RIGHT= special weapon
DOWN= heavy weapon
LEFT= ammo synthesis
Mainly because there is no use in waving or pointing and it seems like a waste of valuable controls NOT TO MENTION HOW LONG IT TAKES FOR IT TO LOAD DURING A FIGHT

That or weapon presets?? Instead of having to stop and change out your exotics just push a button?

Plus Bungie will not change anything in this nature. Gameplay mechanics , eventually vault space , glimmer cap , cheese spots , OP/UP weapons . Track record my friend , it'll never happen when they have 4 more expansions currently in production with these already well incorporated into them. That's before D2.

Put in the settings all your selections like point and ammo and just assign them the way you want because some people like the dancing and some people think it can be better use so why not be able to just go into your setting and change them?

D pad is useless currently. It takes way too long to load the inventory during a fight. I guess I could always take a seat when I run out of ammo.

Dancing in Destiny tells more than the story! :D maybe I'll get exotics for heroic dancing :D

1 ReplyActually now that I notice, gta, cod, injustice and most ps4 games make a use of the big tactile button in the middle of the controller and somehow bungie didn't even bother to touch it.... I wonder why tho.. The could use it for synthesis or replace the dpad buttons for synthesis and put the dancing buttons on the big button

They could make the dpad for hotkeys and still allow us to hotkey emotes to it. But yes, please let us assign functions to these keys.

Bump. We absolutely need some kind of hot keys. Please Deej, this is like my one, deep down legit beef with Destiny. We all know how much of a pain in the ass it is to pause a switch something, or use a consumable. Give a weapon wheel that we can customize. Please do this. Everyone would love it.

If people are butt hurt about removing dancing, they could always make the assigned funtion of the direction on the d pad interchangeable to incorporate dancing or... more usefull consumables
