Are people who go around the deathsinger Even worthy of endgame?
Pretty easy fight. Takes about three minutes to do legit, kill two witches, kill two shriekers, kill a witch, done. Fight a hundred knights and off to kill crota. Are the people going around this fight, who aren't willing to invest three minutes, worthy of raid rewards?
EDIT: know what the worst part is? People won't even tell new raiders what's going on. They aren't explaining they are cheesing they aren't explaining how to do the fight legit. Then PPL get mad that no one knows how to do it. If we aren't teaching the new guys what to do how can we be mad at them for not knowing?
Edit: If you guys put as much effort into actually raiding as you do defending your shady actions this would be a non-issue

Sometimes i dont feel like killing knights for 5 minutes. My team always does the raid legit and teaches new people the full raid and all legit strategies... i deserve my raid gear

Deathsingers is not difficult. A friend of mine and I almost did it just the two of us goofing around. We're trying to see if there's anything above the witches. We got her to a quarter health before her song killed us. However, explaining everything to people takes a while and I understand that if someone has a save point at Crota, then might as well skip it for frustration of somebody messing up.

I think, if there was a reward for that part of the raid. I really like the ir yut part of the raid I actually like all the bits people cheese.

It is pretty cool part, But almost every time i run a fresh ce raid the entire groups departs the deathsinger encounter everyone looking to get the crota cp. running it solo is pretty awesome as well just need a solid tube.

1 ReplyWe always do a full first run and then we skip it and hold the check point for other clan members. Same with the Confluxes. Worthy? Lol...bum rush the witch and stay alive in a game long enough for the next stage to launch. Something really to be proud of.

1 Replyi go around it because i solo everything else and then find a team for crota. i could solo it easily but im not confident enough to solo crota. so i skip it.

I only skip it to cut back on heavy ammo synth. One time a week for no drops is enough. Xur needs to sell that.

If new players want to learn the raid and have ever been on these forums the would ask they to run it normally. No cheesing.

2 RepliesI think the issue is that it can be argued that it is the toughest fight off the Raid with no reward, so why waste the time if someone has the checkpoint. Now I think the fight is fun and would prefer to do it rather than skip it, but Bungie hasn't really given an incentive to do it. Just my 2 cents.

I did it with 1 other guy in 5 minutes but its not worth my time right now, id much rather join someone who has crota cp and ACTUALLY GET SOMETHING!

I remember I used to go around it in the first two weeks of the DLC, then I tried it out and thought "Wow...I'm such a scrub this is so easy!" And now I run though it legit every time. Unfortunately...can't do that on the rest of the raid because my team loves them some frumunda cheese xD

I do it once and then get the checkpoint on my other characters. Do Crota on them then complete the beginning.

9 RepliesI only pass the Deathsinger as much as possible due to the lack of rewards. Other than swapping checkpoints with other characters, I was unaware of a cheese for this area.
