Are people who go around the deathsinger Even worthy of endgame?
Pretty easy fight. Takes about three minutes to do legit, kill two witches, kill two shriekers, kill a witch, done. Fight a hundred knights and off to kill crota. Are the people going around this fight, who aren't willing to invest three minutes, worthy of raid rewards?
EDIT: know what the worst part is? People won't even tell new raiders what's going on. They aren't explaining they are cheesing they aren't explaining how to do the fight legit. Then PPL get mad that no one knows how to do it. If we aren't teaching the new guys what to do how can we be mad at them for not knowing?
Edit: If you guys put as much effort into actually raiding as you do defending your shady actions this would be a non-issue

3 RepliesI'm more than up for trying to beat CE legit. I just need to find a team willing to run with someone who is fairly new to the raids. My experience so far on my 4 total runs on VOG is that if things go rough someone ends up quitting or getting ticked off and alot of times the new people get blamed even though they're holding their own while the experienced guys are messing up. So if I am able to find a team like that, I will definitely run through CE. I just don't know how many of those are out there.

Solo the first two checkpoints then find a group to cheese Crota. Maximum rewards for minimal effort...it's human nature to find the path of least resistance.

1 ReplyMy fire team members all have three characters so we usually run death singer once to get to crota cp and no point to do death singer two more times once we have the crota cp

4 RepliesThat part is only hard if you have 1 person below 30. If you have 6 30+ then just snipe the Wizards (3 on each side or rush them) then rush the shriekers one at a time. Finally kill the wizard while dodging the crap that Bungie throws at you.

The no drop after deathsinger isn't real encouraging. The whole part is basically just ultra spam. If someone on the team has crota cp hell yeah we're going around it. I've done it enough that I'm comfortable with the encounter, but not always as trusting with randoms.

3 RepliesNever been in a group that did it in 3 minutes. You must have a great team all with fully upgraded Gjallarhorns and max ammo to do it that quickly. Well done! There should be a reward drop and next mission for that part. As it is it's basically pointless to do after you've done it a couple times. Just a waste of time. If you can skip it why not?

Why explain it to people that just want to cheese? I don't waste my valuable time on that why would I? However if someone wishes to learn I am more then willing to say so. And about death singers your right it is easy, I can get her down to half health solo with out gjallorhorn

If you can't pass death singer then you don't really deserve the completion. We passed death singer first try three times yesterday. Crota on the other hand..... Depends on your sword bearer.

Game design 101: if players find something unfun/unrewarding in a GAME, they will of course just pass it up.

Went though and read some of the comments and agree but disagree it is waste of time without a reward but I don't mind doing it's very easy but some people know how to do it and just cheese it to get it out of the way but it's their game the way they play is the right way so continue cheesing if that is what u like and if u like doing it legit keep doing it legit Amazing how simple it is :)
