Have you ever looked back on bad memories to take a moment to enjoy the fact that they happened to you? Doesn't matter what it was, a memory is a memory, and every one of them is a part of you, for better or for worse. The present and future are important, but never let their importance allow you to forget that where you came from is important as well. Bad, good, either way, it's all still you, for as long as you exist anyway.
Though, I guess if you dislike yourself or the way you turned out, this advice isn't quite applicable...meh.

A good friend once told me we're are memories Without them we equal nothing

I'm not usually too happy thinking about stuff I had done.

I just feel like Grizabella.

All the time.

If I spend too much time thinking about the past, present, or future, I'd consider my life worthless and become depressed. The worst I had it was when I watched it snow once last year. Wailed from tears one night, spent the next fortnight miserable. Which is why I always have my mind thinking about something else. I am a salmon.

I get all soul-searchy and yearn-y whenever I look back at my past. So I try not to do it much.

I concur. If certain events hadn't happened in my past, I wouldn't be the person I am today. And I couldn't be any happier right now. Unlike most people on these forums....
