I'm here for the bounty of all these Desticles. Cash only yeah?

Looking at your game history it would appear you played though the story then only played crucible. Not surprising you have no gear. Playing the weekly strikes you should have at least been able to buy exotics off xur and the crucible vendor.
-
There is no fast fix. You will have to put in the work like everyone else has had to in order to get legendary gear, and the odd exotic. It really is simple. Do all bounties daily, do at least one public event a day to get the rewards and marks, do the daily heroic mission, do the weekly strike, run some strikes in the tiger playlist. Rinse. Repeat. I hate to say this though, but it took me and probably most people in the game, at minimum 100 hours before I was buying my legendary gear and closer to 200 before I hit level 30 and got some exotics. Patience and time... Like the snazzy sniper rifle says... And you'll get there. Also, pray that RNGesus loves you more than it does most players... Good luck!

Try the loot cave. Really though you can farm marks and rep to rank (2) Vanguard so you can nab the gear. Rank (3) for weapons. Not trying to be a Desticle but if you have played since launch your account doesn't reflect it. If you feel it's garbage don't waste your time grinding. It's probably not the game for you. If you wish to Raid you have to put in the work to get there just like everyone else did.
-
Weekly Heroic for the strange coins to give to Xur for an exotic and Weekly Nightfall are your better bets rather than waiting for a random drop.
-
27 hours. Typical halicle. Go play master chief. Bye bye.
-
Sounds like someone is just too damb special to be forced to play the game like everyone else....
-
I got my exotic bounty 2 weeks ago. I only got two legendary weapons on Crucible. I play at least 4 hours a day...
-
Yeah sure you have the game since launch and you only have one character that is level 24. Seems legit....
-
Do you understand people can see how much time you have played?
-
get good
-
No. You havnt been playing since launch troll
-
You are aware we can check your profile right? We can see how long you have played as well as when you started And other stats like kdr and number of strikes played

Okay, it seems you are serious then. There's some grinding in Destiny no matter what. If you want to improve your character there is grinding involved. For marks, on strikes, through bounties/dailies, whatever. Slowly but surely your character gets better gear. For the raids (normal) you really just need to get to level 30 which is done with Vanguard gear. Run the bounties to rank up the faction (you'll get 1-2 ranks per week if you do all of the bounties) and buy a full set of Vanguard gear. Full set takes almost 4 weeks just for the marks so you'll hit the faction rank and marks requirement at about the same time. Now the bad news if you don't like grinding: the raids are another grind. You run the raid and maybe you get the weapon/armor puece you want but maybe you don't. So each week you run the raid and it's the same raid every time. And then when you do get the gear you wanted it just makes the raids/Nightfall/Weekly/daily/bounties easier, but they're all the same content over and over. If you don't want to grind I would suggest that Destiny is not the right game for you. And that's fine, it's not for everyone. I wouldn't waste anymore time on it though if it's not fun, just find something you do enjoy playing.

Edited by Silly Sod: 1/7/2015 12:06:45 PMDid patrol (with bounties in tow) last night for 30 mins 1 legendary, countless greens and blues, 2000 glimmer then 3 strikes 3000 glimmer, about 6 or 7 blues and legendary Leggings Not that much of a grind if you know how to do it and topped it off with a couple of crucible games it took 2 hrs tops (and I ranked the Cryptarch in the process) and got a gold in public event whilst doing the patrol

Vanguard gear
-
If you've been in since launch and don't have gear good enough for the Level 26 raid, then it's you who has the problem, not the game.
-
Lmao man the shit i was going to say until i read your edits... Sorry to hear what ur going through btw... And honestly there is easy way to get gear and weapons.. U basically have to put the time into it and get lucky too. P.s. If u post on here expect the trolls ;) dont take it to heart, these people love to troll

Edited by ItsMihali: 1/7/2015 11:54:39 AMI'll walk you through it. 1. Play Crucible and Strikes with friends and you might get lucky. 2. Complete bounties to get faction experience. This allows for you to attain armour regardless of the RNG drops. 3. Play through lower-level daily and weekly challenges to receive engrams and strange coins. 4. Use strange coins to purchase gear from Xûr. 5. Completing bounties gives you a chance at receiving an exotic bounty. 6. Join a clan so you've got people to run through these activities with; it's tonnes of fun with a good group. (It'll be good to have a clan for when you get up to raid level as well). Hope that helped. If you're uninterested in all of these steps, Destiny is probably not the game for you. Good luck, Guardian. :) P.S: as you rank up different vendors (Cryptarch, Vanguard, Factions) you receive packages that give you gear.

Play the tiger strike playlist whenever you can and do the highest level weekly heroic you can every week. Eventually you'll hit vanguard rank 2 and get 75 vanguard marks, which can buy you 33 light gloves or boots.

As I don't bother with multi-player I don't do raids so I've found www.destinypublicevents.com to be the best way to "grind" vanguard marks. All three of my characters have a full set of max lvl33 armor items and a lvl36 exotic armor item each. I bought most with marks from public events. In the game it says the +6 marks from Tiger Strikes is the fastest way to get marks but the fact is that a strike can take 20+ minutes. In that 20 minutes I can do 3 public events with +4 from each and get +12 in the same time. You also get tons of engrams and other drops doing public events so every now and again you get a legendary or even exotic item that way too. That will eventually upgrade a level with the cryptarch and you'll hopefully get some good stuff in the upgrade package. Oh and while waiting for events to start do bounties and patrol missions and farm the chests in caves too. The XP/bounties should boost your vanguard rep and as you upgrade a level you'll get a decent upgrade package there too. PS sorry to make a positive post - it will disrupt the flow of other replies here ;-)

Well, before I got to do the VoG, I just bought all of my armor since I was very unlucky with drops.
-
Is there anyway to fill my bank account with money without working? Short answer, No.
-
So you want to be given everything without working for it? No, there is no way.
-
Play the game if you get one you get one. I didn't get my first till last week and I've been on it since the start.....don't moan just play and eventually you'll get a nice one
-
Without a painful grind? No. However I find it easy to get legendaries from the cryptarch by ranking up with him. Try gathering lots of blue engrams through ROC strikes and the daily mission. You should level up your cryptarch rank at least once in at most two hours. Another way to obtain legendaries is through ranking up with vanguard and crucible. Just gather as many bounties as you can and choose a journey (PvP or pve). Not only will you gain reputation to rank up (so you can get legendary stuff from postmaster) but you will also get marks to spend at e quartermasters.
