Same for weekly. Do some tiger strikes with whateve time u have spare to max ur vanguard marks each week. can sound grindy but its still fun gameplay Edit: if you can do a bounty(s) in a strike do that

No there isn't a way, unless you're extremely lucky. Whatever your feelings towards the game are, they are of no concern to me. I'm sure others have answered your question, however if they have not there is the answer. Best of luck.

Farm the weekly strikes for strange coins, this will give you 9 one week, do this in a Monday and again on Tuesday for the weekly reset and you will have 18 which is enough to buy an exotic piece of gear from Xur

This game is built around an endless grind and isn't shy about hiding it. That's Bungie's "10 year plan." Grinding to keep you coming back to grind some more.

If you have played since day one, you should have earned plenty of marks to buy whatever you want

I would just play the roc strikes. Don't play looking for drops. Just play. Level up a faction and get packages. Also, visit xur when he comes. It's not that bad
