Not gonna lie, playing with you Christmas noobs has made the game a tiny bit more fresh to me and a little bit more fun. I've recently been helping random X-mas Guardians with missions and patrol, I simply tell them I'm just here as fire support and to lead on. I don't offer much advice or tell them how to do it. I WANT them to explore and learn the way the rest of us vets did day one. This has lead to some interesting moments, watching them try plans I did when I first started that were doomed from the start and then slowly begin to figure out current strategies that we all use today. Some of them come up with new ways of doing things that while they take a little bit longer still get the job done. It's especially fun to hear them get all excited when they receive a blue engram and marvel over that new fine piece of equipment. One Guardian was simply baffled when he got a legendary for the first time. I somewhat envy these X-mas Guardians. I envy how everything is so new and amazing to them, I envy their child-like wonder.
If you vets wanna help some fresh recruits and maybe experience something somewhat new give this a try. Join a noob and give him the reigns. Think of yourself as a merc for hire.
Good luck Guardians, keep fighting and always keep learning.
