Thing is, a legendary weapon with 331 attack will do about 15% more damage against the same enemy as overall damage is attack x impact. For example against a level 30 goblin in the VOG the Vision of confluence does 890 damage. My 331 attack 'the calling' which has the exact same impact does 1017 damage against an identical enemy. Granted I will not be scrapping my voc as it's more effective for solar burn nightfalls and its more effective against oracles, but unfortunately my new 331 calling outshines it in every other star. The calling I got also has firefly so it's a fatebringer in scout rifle form.
