*EDITED*
I didn't know Iron Banner sold level 36 gear (as people are telling me), so this post is moot...I'm on level 31 anyways, and thanks for the funny responses...how I love what people say on the internet. I never thought about level 32 being necessary only for raid purposes, so I guess I don't need it
And if you are wondering, I DO RAIDS, but I do not get good drops, so it was just an idea

Ya gotta work...they put it out from day one. ..this is how it is...the end
-
Disagree. This is how it was to get to level 30 before DLC. Nothing's changed.
-
Um..... No. Life isn't fair. Raid or stay 31.
-
So because your a nub and can't raid witch crota is a joke and quick I should be punished
-
No just no
-
disagree i can solo all the way up to the death singer. i normal don't i normally do it with my friend who has ice breaker. My point is that i have 3/4 raid pieces for my hunter and 2/4 for warlock and 1/4 for my titan. and I've only completed it once
-
To put it simply, no.
I don't have time to explain why I don't have time to explain...
I agree somewhat. I think there should be 36 light pvp gear. So both types of players could get to 32. The one time iron banner was going on, they sold 33 light gear, which was the max at the time. So I was real confused why they didn't do the same for the last IB event. Both methods of play should have their own top tier gear.
-
No, those people end up in the raids and wastes everyone's time. At least when I see a 32 right now, I know they can do the crota fight.
-
Why do you need to be a 32 if you don't raid. Why do you even need to be a 31 if you don't raid. Plus the first two checkpoints in the crota raid that drop gear take 15-20 min to solo and get 36 light gear.
-
I hate you. Muted for stupid.
I know some people may disagree with me on this, but I think light 36 armor should be obtainable by other means other than just doing raids. I really want to get to level 32, and I do not like having to contact people all the time just to do a raid to get there. I think it would be more fair if light 36 armor could be obtained by other means, such as purchasing them from the sellers (maybe for 200 marks), or even sometimes through random drops, or if the current light 33 armor can be upgraded through Xur. I wouldn’t mind raids giving out exclusive raid armor, but the fact that level 36 armor can only be obtained through raids is unfair to me. Anyone else agree?
Dude then everyone in the game would be a 32 then no one would play it that would be way too easy... being a 31 in the raid is not hard at all its easily obtainable in this raid it's the shards you need. I need 3 more and I'm 32 and I only beat the first part. Can you say 32 this week????
-
Iron Freaking Banner.
-
It's not in any way unfair. Everyone has the ability to play the raid, people solo it for christ sake. I've soloed all the way to Crota in about 20 to 30 mins.watch some tutorials or figure it out yourself. A level 31 can easily complete every step of the raid besides Crota. It takes too long to kill him solo being level 31.
-
Just solo the first two parts it's not hard at all.

Edited by Sithisvoid666: 1/6/2015 9:37:22 PMOh you can have it, when the house of wolves drops and we have already had our fun EDIT: look how many raid activities op has done yet not finished. Poor op

I really don't have a problem with it. If you still don't have an answer though armor from special events will give that 36 light armor. Events like Iron Banner or Queen's Wrath (if Queen's Wrath ever shows up again that is) provide ways for players who don't or can't raid the opportunity to get armor with the maximum light level. Although, you may get flack from having that special event armor. Some people get butt hurt when they see others with max light armor not from the raid.
-
If you're not raiding, why do you want level 32? To satisfy your epeen? Are you a scrub? If you are then my advice would be to git gud. Something to think about.
-
Cry some more... Bungie will ruin it next week... Thanks kid.
-
Just solo the raid
-
200 marks is way too easy.
-
christmas noobs. what are ya gonna do.
-
More like 500 marks 2 is too easy
-
Dude the raid isn't that hard.. Find a group on the forums and go do it. Jeeez people and their retarded whining
-
I hardly ever raid because I either have no time or can't get in a group easily, but even I think this is a bad idea. If you want the best, you have to make the biggest effort. On the bright side, anything you can do at 32 you can pretty much do at 31, so...
-
Iron Banner will offer gear that will have 36 light, so your point is moot. But going back to your premise, how about you just play the raid? It is not that difficult as Crota's End is significantly shorter than the VoG, and the raid is much, much more generous this time around regarding drops.
