I'm not denying there is an expiration date. I'm in favor of it. Keeps content fresh. I still play VoG, not for loot but because it's fun to play with friends. If you really want to use VoG weapons, Bungie should make a level 32 VoG HM that has upgraded weapons (@m00ninite suggestion). Don't simply allow players to upgrade old weapons because the game is expanding.
