Well, maybe because level grinding is an artificial, fake way of increasing the game's life span.
The raid itself is content. The strikes and quests are content. Grinding to level 32 is just filler, and, in my opinion, unnecessary. Not to mention boring and frustrating.
We also have casual and intermediate players. Level just means content access. Why not keep the cap at 30 and give us five strikes, two raids, new subclasses and a new planet instead? Less grindy and more fun.
After all, it's a [i]shared world [b]shooter[/b][/i], not an mmorpg, right?
