Horrible idea its funny that you would suggest this. why wouldnt you ask instead for newer and better weapons? wouldnt that be more sensible? I mean basically that would be like me asking for my level 12 and 16 weapons to get new 331 stats because I loved playing with them. If the game is a progression and it is then why are you refusing to progress when the game is giving you newer and better weapons? Also why are you encouraging Bungie to give us new raid weapons that would essentially have the same base damage you propose as the old ones? Basically we would get weapons everyone just paid for the new DLC that we could've gotten for free. Its hard to let go but please do and stop crying about your refusal to do so. I love my Fate-Bringer but I'm also equally looking forward to the will of Crota you see because I understand as the game moves forward so will I to newer and better weapons you whiny bitch...Or Bitches because its a lot of you crying about the same thing.

We're not crying. We're rightfully telling bungie this is something we want. Yes, I don't want weapons to be overpowered simply by the attack rating. I want new weapons with different stats from new content, not just more attack. Diversity.

Bungie gave you that. Besides everyone on here is arguing for vog primaries to be upgraded when the new raid primaries haven't even came out yet.

tell you what since your obviously more mature than I.. Why don't you tell us why it makes more sense to upgrade old vog weapons as suppose to progressing normally in the game where they give us newer and better weapons.. Explain it for us.

So you're ok with the raid being useless unless you by the game today? VOG weapons do bonus damage to Oracles and others in VOG Crota's End Weapons will do more damage in Crota's End in some way. So each weapon set with still have their own purpose. I don't see why making VOG gear on par with CE gear is a bad thing. Obviously, bump the VOG to level 33 or 34 to make it harder and only allow people who purchased DLC able to play it, but making the old raid gear obsolete is a dumb idea. It just cuts down on the amount of endgame gear and with only ONE set of raid gear... the diversity in this game is reduced to shaders and exotics (Which you can only have one). Halo's had numerous gear to choose from, COD does too. Their armor doesn't affect light level and such, but Destiny should have more personalization when it comes to your guardian. The type of game it is seems like it would have more options. Even making removable and addable thing on raid armor would work (Take off/on pouches, Shoulder pieces, accessories, etc etc) It is really frustrating when you have more lower tier green and blue gear than endgame gear.

Amen man. I get so sick of this whiny crap about make this weapon upgradeable and what not. What the hell is the point of new weapons if you just want to upgrade the old ones. No one has used the Crota's End primary weapons yet, so I say wait and see.
