Because someone went out and paid $75 for the game. That $75 was due to someone's work. Then they go and devote time to the game. So if they want to cheese Crota who cares? How does it affect you in any way? It's a game. It's not real life.
You and your buddy can do it yourself so you don't have to have anyone in your group that cheeses. So it doesn't affect you. All it does is give someone a secondary or heavy weapon and that's it. If being 32 with all raid weapons define you as a person then that is sad.
Not trying to come off wrong but sick of seeing all these post complain about how someone else plays the game. The only valid complaint is in pvp when someone is seriously cheating bc it does affect everyone else.

"It doesn't affect you" The one reason people shouldn't be cheesing: It does. Proof? Atheon/VoG. All cheesed into patches that were unnecessary for legit players but guess what? Legit players got it all the same.

I want to make sure I understand--the patches to prevent pushing atheon off affected legit players? If you didn't push him off how did it affect you? Random teleports? How did that have anything or do with pushing him. The Templar push? Again, how did that affect anyone who played the game without pushing? As the the vex is there any statement by bungie saying it was nerfed bc of cheering atheon. I didn't see it. I just saw that it was dominating in pvp so they want to make each gun a viable option. I could be wrong, but please show me the statement from bungie otherwise it's just speculation.

Still I don't see any facts about how it affects everyone else. Are you saying bungie will basically punish us by making hard mode harder than it would normally be? Please tell me where they have stated this or point to anything that would support it.

Those VOG cheesers are the reason why the Mytho got nerfed. Bad players gained a weapon not meant for them and heavily abused it in PVP.

But again, It's just sad how you bug abusers practically use the same response over and over again in these forums. So anyone who sees cheesing as wrong is an "Elitist" according to your logic? That's fine then. Because I plan to play the game the way it was intended. Not bug abuse a system to gain something I shouldn't have and by doing so unintentionally cause a nerf to an item just because the mass of bug abusers that think it's okay to do so while those who choose to do it fairly get stuck with your idiotic backlash. Yes I'm talking about the Vex Mythocast.

I don't care if people cheat. It's the simple fact of allowing people to play the game how they want to. It has no affect on you personally, so why care? Is it because they found a way around something that you tried so hard to do? Why does it matter? As for causing a nerf, that is not the intended affect of cheesing. That is a consequence of kids screaming on the forum because that can't stand the way the game was "intended" or at least that weapon. I got the Vex post DLC launch. I had zero issues with it both before and after the nerfed it. I would get killed by it and would kill those using it. I beat Atheon multiple times and finally got it after the DLC, even after I got my black hammer. Now, I have two Vexes. I rarely use them except for in PvE. My backlash was only for allowing people to play how they want. I don't and won't ever cry out for a gun to be buffed, nerfed, or given to me. If I get it then I get it. If not, oh well. Play your way and let others play theirs.

When a mass amount of people cheat to gain something they shouldn't have it causes that particular item to be spammed, everywhere, and by this happening causes quite a stir amongst the community and the demand of Nerfs. So in the end it does. If you don't cheese and you're not bothered by it then good for you. For the rest of us we dislike it. Call us Elitist all you want. I've played plenty of MMOs to know that if this were another company ( and not Bungie ) there would be mass bans.

I didn't cheat to get my Vex, either of them. My calling of elitist is the "you don't deserve" this or that attitude.

I don't care if it makes me an elitist because I view that people should play the game the way it was intended and not bug abuse to gain an advantage over other players. Cheesers are whack.
