Any geeks here have any funny Dungeons and Dragons stories? Just things gone wrong or hilarious logic that happened in a campaign? If so post em here.
Let's see, one for myself..
Warning this one is long.
My first ever campaign I chose to be a rogue assassin and I was robbing a house and I swear the DM wanted me caught because of how long I was taking so after incapacitating 3 guards and the tenants of a mansion I was on my way out, a mother was taking her 8 year old son for a walk and witnessed my crime.
Under normal circumstances I'd be fine with this happening. But it was 2 AM IN THE GAME and she had her kid out for a casual stroll.
Naturally I critical hit the mom with an arrow, put the kid to sleep before stabbing him in the throat with my dagger.
However the next morning guards came to our inn with a description of me given by the 8 year old who survived the stabbing and somehow recovered and saw me from 80 feet away well enough to distinguish my identity.
After arguing about how secretly I could cast spells I sliced ones throat open, jumped out the window and ran like hell leaving my team to fend for themselves. (They each did equally horrible things but apparently I was the only one who got caught. )

Then i gave them a dungeon with the dragon at front and she used the dagger. So they stomped through the dungeon with their lawful good dragon😄
