Lose the lense flare: if this is suppose to be an exotic iron sight sniper then i dont see why there is still a lense flare.
Armor Piercing round perk: Make No Land Beyond automatically have armor piercing rounds
Increase ammo: Allow us to hold more then just 24 rounds, having that small amount of ammo makes this gun almost useless in PVE
Strait pull perk: If we have to suffer through the slow fire rate because of the strait pull add a perk that will increase the speed of loading the next round into the chamber
Let us add scopes: if it IS a sniper then let us have the option to add an old fasion scope and use it as a sniper, though the ironsight looks cool we still are at a disadvantage in close medium AND long range
Edit: Instant kill to the chest up would be OP but add a perk where there is a chance where the round will ignore the shield

You can't simply make a rifle a straight pull, either it is or isn't. If you don't know how it works look it up, there are several different types. And not to mention they are considered widow makers by most people. I for one own several bolt actions, none are straight pull, but I can tell you that you DON'T have to pull the gun away from your eye to chamber another round after firing. I can put just as much ammo down range ACCURATELY as a semi auto of the same caliber. It does at least need more ammo though.

Well I was thinking it should kind of be like the black hammer where getting precision shots will automatically fill the magazine but add something like precision shots do greater damage (something like 2-2.5x the regular precision damage or is that too op ?) this kind of balances it out because in pvp the sights wobble a lot anyways a headshot is still always a kill and if you get a body shot it wont insta kill the guy and you will still have to reload. This at the same time will also make it more useful in pve, maybe not as powerful as the allmighty gjallarhorn. It wont shine in raids or so forth but it will make it [b]FEEL LIKE AN EXOTIC[/b]. Also adding more ammo capacity wouldnt hurt it any since it is a primary.Any thoughts on this ?

They should just improve "The Master" perk with straight pull bolt, increased ammo, and increased stability. Plus, give players choice between iron sights and a couple of old-fashioned scopes. If it was up to me, this gun would just take ammo straight from the reserve, instead of having to do a pointless reload.

All it needs imo is return to sender instead of Mulligan. Sights are fine to me. I have actual peripheral vision on a sniper now.

w/o raising the fire rate I'd say, lose the lense flare (since it doesn't have one), have it over penetrate---seriously I'd love to try to kill 3 dregs with one shot. And if that's not enough maybe have it immune to jerking around when you're hit.

Well, it will need to do lots of damage to compensate for not only its slow fire rate, but its exotic slot as well.

This weapon is so bad, I love it. :) so many ways to make it better but that may ruin it? I keep hoping to find the 'one' place it was designed to wrek. Like one shot crota in the perfect place or something. It also helps during a raid. My raid buddies rage when they hear it going off. ;) (fun rage, were a good group but they are like "OMG Gildon put that thing away and help" - Boom....3 seconds later, boom...damn missed....3 seconds later - i'm outta ammo guys) hahah

Besides getting rid of lens flair I feel it should have the option in it's perks to adjust the zoom that comes with aiming down sites. It just feel like it zooms a bit too much, so maybe an option of three different zoom distances with the iron sight would better suit to peoples play styles and make it a (slightly) more practical weapon to use. It is extremely satisfying getting kills with this in PVP!

I know how to fix this gun and make everyone happy. Let us break it down for 3 exotic shards or 10 strange coins and go back to the edging drawing board because there is no perk/buff within reason they could add to make this in any way useful for any in game situation other than patrol kills.

I agree with all of these, and there's a animation flaws with this weapon as well. 1. When you go to reload with an empty mag you cycle the bolt to get the spent shell out of the chamber, then you push it closed again before swapping mags. This is pointless as when you load the new mag in you have to reopen the bolt to chamber the first round once again, adding an extra second or so to the reload time. The bolt should just be left open until the new mag is loaded.

This gun would also suck less if there was another headshot weapon (a handgun perhaps) as your Special weapon...

Armor piercing would make it worthwhile in Crota's End and basically any other Hive mission where you're constantly being chased by Thralls...

I like this weapon, but if you miss the shot, a follow up shot takes too long. I would love to see a strait pull perk.

All things, except change scopes and ignore shields. The scope is bad, but the solution is make a new scope. Change scopes at a old sniper is strange. And ignore shields its strange too.
