I’ve had to “download and install” this 76.87MB patch at least 100 times already and it still keeps needing to be installed. At it’s worst I’m getting this 3-4 per day and it is becoming more frequent. Turning the XBOX on from being off all night and disconnected from power can result in the need to install the patch; Playing Destiny and being booted mid game to the Destiny “Press A to play” screen results in the need for the patch when I try to restart; Playing Destiny for hours, closing the game and leaving XBOX at main menu for a while before coming back to play again will result in the patch needing to be installed; Playing Destiny on my profile, closing the game for my daughter to play Destiny on her profile then switching back to me playing on my profile again results in me having to install the patch; Playing Destiny on my profile, closing the game for my daughter to play Minecraft on her profile then switching back to me playing on my profile again results in me having to install the patch; Playing Destiny on my profile, closing the game for my other daughter to play Minecraft on my profile then switching back to me playing on my profile again results in me having to install the patch; I’m using an XBOX One with all recent updates. The internet connection is wired and I have a static IP address. There are no network issues shown within the XBOX network settings. I have followed all the suggested fixes: Reset XBOX my pressing and holding power button; Turning off XBOX and leaving power disconnected; Turning off XBOX and leaving power disconnected along with power down of entire network and equipment; The above only help complete the patch install without “Wasp”; they do nothing to stop the patch being needed again. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Destiny and this is yet another poor experience. Understandably still need the same patch but get stuck for ages at “transferring game content” so lose yet more time away from playing this game to which I’m addicted. I’ve never experienced an issue like this with any other game ever. Surely there is some registry setting that can be set to ensure that once the patch is in place it is not needed again. TL;DR: Unable to play due to constant need to install patch that has already been installed 100’s of time. Interfering severely with Destiny addiction.
