This is a pretty small and tight clan we have here. That said, it's pretty awesome when we are able to get six of us on the same schedule of raiding. However, not everyone has multiple toons to run raids three times a week with so sometimes it's necessary to pick up randoms....or even better, join a group of randoms. I am putting a simple list of survival tips together to help you make the most of a four hour raid....
1. LeRoy Jenkins is not just a name it's a life lesson that everyone should experience multiple times. So your group is trying to meticulously plan the next stage of the raid? -blam!- that, run out there and take one for the team. What's the point of planning if your just gonna wipe repeatedly.
2. Be sure to communicate your preferences of weapons and why yours are more awesome. So what if you have fatebringer and you have a serious need to take down oracles. Last Word is the only choice of the seasoned vet and everyone else just needs to work a little harder as you lacidasically lob rounds while admiring your beautiful hand cannon.
3. The sure fire way to make new friends is by talking to them. If you want to make sure that they will like you, keep talking. Talk so much they cannot get a word in edge-wise. If they don't have a chance to say anything bad about you then by forfeit, they will have to be your friends.
4. So the randoms spent a small fortune on heavy ammo synth cause that asshole Xur forgot his stockpile again for the second week in a row. See Rule 1, and make sure you call for a wipe, but only after you know everyone already used that synth.
These are just a few rules to abide by. I look forward to your amendments and additions :-)
