Who stands there and waits for their teammates to do all the killing while they reap all the benefits without doing jack shit.
Yes I report them every game while tea-bagging their lifeless body, but why must we be burdened with a player who refuses to play the way that Bungie intended.
Im tired of all these BS reporting systems that game companies are using to try and make us feel better about useless teammates. A letter sent to Santa Claus has a better chance of arriving at the North Pole then a report of inactivity to Bungie. They have all these people working on the game and yet we still have yet to see any real improvement.
Its kind of sad that we are forced to write out all of this for you to fix. Don't you guys get paid over at Bungie to fix these problems before they happen?
Please have a voting system to get rid of these Strike Playlist cockroaches. Please listen to us for a change. If not a voting system then please listen to all the posters below this with suggestions to fix this. It has snowballed into a MAJOR PROBLEM.

It gets way annoying. Yesterday I was striking with two randoms and died at one part (which is not very common) and they don't even make an effort to revive me when I'm 20 feet away. After that one of the dudes didn't feel like getting off his sparrow and was determined to run into me with it. Luckily I went to this nice hiding spot on sepkis prime and just danced the boss battle away. Also finished with more kills than both of them put together. I just don't understand what benefit they get from doing stuff like that.

On the mcdickface strike or whatever the nickname is for cerebus, I was in that little riding machine shooting the cabal and this guy who was doing nothing jumped on to the machine with me driving it and started dancing, he did this until the tank dropped, I just ignored him and didn't revive him

Seeing as how I have friends to play with I have never had this problem, maybe instead of whining on forums you should find a competent team.

4 RepliesIf vote-kick is implemented, you are going to get trolls who group up and que a strike, just to kick you at the end before completing it. Then you will moan and complain about Bungie adding this to the game. In ANY multi-player game, you will find players like this with no real solution in place to combat most offenders. Nowhere in Destiny does it say you have to play the strike the way others want to play it. You shouldn't be able to kick players who do not conform to your playstyle. Instead, if these players annoy you so damn much, stop being lazy and use the LFG forums, or find friends to play with like Destiny is supposed to be played. Saying that the game should be damn near perfect and meet all of your expectations is unrealistic. If they implement vote-kick, I hope you get troll-kicked every other strike until you beg for them to take it away!

Agreed. It's a shame seeing level 30 scrubs just follow behind you sometimes and not shoot a single damn thing. The only thing they're capable of doing is reviving you when you go down... Half the time I just leave the strike when this nonsense happens.

Sometimes i just sit right next to them and turn my guys head back and forth until they move and other times i could care less cause im using a gun that i need xp on. Also they look like an idiot when 100+ kills and they have like a petty 20

I have to leave 4 strikes that I play a few minutes into just to find 1 strike that has no afkers. This is only happening because Bungie [u]allows[/u] it. They don't do anything about the people you report so if someone wanted to go afk, they know there will be nothing done against them. It has gotten to the point that many people have made a habit of it. All Bungie needs to do is heed the plea of the massive amount of player that are actually playing the game and allow the ability to kick afkers. If Bungie won't do anything about afkers, let the players do something; and if a habitual afker gets kicked from every strike for going afk then they likely won't do it anymore. Such a simple concept and solution yet Bungie has done nothing about it. I am just amazed at how slow they are moving to fix issues (such as all the bugs in the Atheon fight).

Someone may have hurt themselves in the house hold and the player has to drop the gaming to attend to it. And then you make it worse by being an asshole and reporting them. Don't be so judgemental when you don't have a clue what's going on.

1 ReplyOne guy was doing that to me on the omnigul nightfall this week. Once we got to omnigul he his somewhere at rhe bottom of the hill and went afk. I pushed him all the way up that hill , waited till the third fireteam member died, pushed him into a knight, he died, then i killed myself. We all went to orbit, I win.

A big problem is how people that don't feel like playing are doing this because of the rewards system. The sad thing is people don't realize you are just as likely to snag a legendary from a random enemy as a rewards screen.
